The MBA program of Baikal International Business School, Irkutsk State University, has been ranked as one of notable Russian business schools in Russia. Such annual ranking is done by the MBA in Russia portal and national paper "Izvestia" ("News").

Irkutsk State University is among the Top-50 Russian Universities
According to the EXPERT RAEX agency, Irkutsk State University ranks 37th in the first reputation rankings of the Russian Federation universities in the fields of Economics and Management. It was announced on September 9, the selection criteria were quality education, demand for graduates and level of research work of the institution. Alexander Schmidt, Vice president for Scientific Researches says: "A high ranking of ISU is due to successful activities of many university divisions such as Baikal International Business School, International Institute of Economics and Linguistics, Institute of Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science." The rankings were based on the large-scale surveys conducted in 2012-2014. The number of respondents is over 15,000 from 78 regions of Russia. Involved were university professors, scientists, employers, undergraduates and graduates. The listing of the "Economics and Management" areas was based on the rankings of the 100 top universities of Russia (2012-2014).
