Master's program. International program

In 2009, Baikal International Business School ISU launched a unique program that offers a master's degree in Management from the University of Maryland University College. The idea is to combine studies of business-related disciplines in the global context and appreciation of cultural, economic, and social processes in different countries.

Since 2012, the list of the research areas includes Marketing, Financial Management, and Project Management.

Instruction is in English. This is why the students find themselves in a friendly cross-cultural environment and have a chance to effectively utilize the experience gained in international technologies and innovative management.

The program is known for its flexible schedule. This allows to combine academic studies and regular employment and thus develop professional skills at work.

Master's degree program in Management (focus: Financial Management)

Success of a company is directly related to effective financial management. The emphasis is on developing competences and skills for financial management of an enterprise and financially valid decision making.

The program incorporates the following aspects of financial management: management of ongoing operations, capital markets. investment valuation, international finance management, behavioral finance, expenditure management, strategic financial management.

Upon completion, the graduates are qualified to work as

  • Inspectors or treasurers
  • Finance managers
  • Finance analysts
  • Financial advisors

Master's degree in Management (Focus: Project Management)

The program has been accredited by the Project Management Institute of Global Accreditation Center.

The program is ideal for managers striving for improvement of their abilities in integrating complex projects, in motivation of employees and in achieving effective economic results.

The program focuses on fundamental theoretical and practical skills in project management.

The program graduates are in demand in many economic branches as project management is critical in various spheres. It calls for knowledge, skills, tools and techniques for business planning to act upon in order to reach the specific goals set . Many enterprises practice project management as the chief planning and monitoring tool.
 

Master's degree in Management

3. Completion and defense in public of the master's degree dissertation

This is the final stage of the program education. The dissertation are written under supervision of the BIBS faculty members

The test should be passed within two years or less prior to enrollment
TOEFL are not required if a student has a bachelor degree diploma from the University of Maryland University College or the University of Southern Queensland.
