Specialization ''Financial Planning and Risk Management in Oil and Gas Enterprises''

A joint program of SAF and Geology Department of ISU.

The program is aimed to prepare highly qualified managers, analysts and researchers to work in oil and gas industry in both Russian and foreign companies connected with design, production, service, and other spheres.

The curriculum offers general and major disciplines.

General disciplines provide a comprehensive training in management and develop necessary practical skills to run a business successfully in a changing environment. Students will gain knowledge in the fields of project and personnel management, marketing and finance, public relations and information security. Major disciplines focus on fundamentals of geology, specifics of geological exploration and production, oilfield geology, economics, as well as the organization of geological exploration and well operation.

Program duration: 2 years 3 months.
Format: full-time and part-time.

Admission in 2024:

• 4 competitive state-funded places;
• fee-based enrollment number - 50 people.

Tuition: 75 000 rub per year, no discounts available.

Admission Requirements
To enroll in the program, it is necessary to take a written interdisciplinary entrance test on management. Test results are assessed on a 100-point scale, and the applicant is informed about the results the next day following the test day. The minimum score for admission is 60.

Diploma Certificate
A higher education diploma and a master's degree in management from Irkutsk State University.
